Because what goes up, shouldn’t come down… unexpectedly.
Why Inspections Matter
Pallet racking systems quietly do a big job. But like any piece of heavy-duty gear, they cop a beating. Forklift bumps, overloading, dodgy installations — it all adds up. Regular inspections help spot trouble before it turns into a safety hazard (or worse, a costly accident).
How Often Should Racking Be Inspected?
The Australian Standard (AS4084) recommends a professional inspection every 12 months — more often if your warehouse cops a lot of traffic or if you’ve had an incident.
Our inspections cover all the key stuff:
If walkways are close to racking, fall barrier mesh panels should be installed. This prevents items being dislodged from above by a forklift operator on the other side.
Keep your racking checked and maintained to prevent unnecessary accidents and injury!
In addition, Queensland regulations require installers to be licensed. Unirack Australia holds a current licence (lic #QBCC-15127645).
Barrier Protection is ideal for use indoors to protect valuable pallets. These safety barriers are constructed of heavy-duty, all-welded steel pipes.
