An International Rail company came to us in need of a storage solution for their new large facility they were moving into, each design had to suit the different aspects of their business.

Solution

We met the client at their existing facility to go through the items they currently store and what items they needed to find a solution for, we then went through the new facility to go over all the separate areas of the business and their unique storage requirements.

Outcome

After an initial consultation on site we designed numerous Pallet Racking storage areas and a Rack Support Mezzanine to store away the clients’ small consumables. We even designed and arranged the installation of security fencing and gates to separate each area of the facility.

We were moving into a big brand-new facility and soon realised Rudy would be our customer service contact to help design each aspect of the storage areas we were looking at. Each area of our new facility had different storage needs and Rudy designed each one exactly how we envisioned, his drawings and 3D images of our warehouse with the racking systems drawn in situ really helped out team understand how the facility would work, any changes we wanted to see in the design layout were normally done and emailed back within minutes, this was vital as we were against a tight timeline for moving into our new facility.

The turnaround time from finalising the racking layout design to having the racking installed was a matter of week, Unirack’s team on installer were equally great to deal with, very polite and knowledgeable, if we wanted to adjust beam heights or change things slightly nothing was too much trouble for them.

Having Rudy as the sole point of contact for the entire project was great, he was always more then happy to come out to site and go over things and there on the first morning of the installation to clearly explain things to the install team, I could not recommend Rudy and the team at Unirack enough, he made what was a stressful process very enjoyable and stress free.
